Small items

Delivery Process

We highly recommend using the postal service for small packages as it is a more suitable option.

However, the choice of delivery method is ultimately up to you.

Your package will reach you accurately within 3-10 working days.

For the delivery of gift items, you should select the courier delivery method. This ensures a secure delivery and will give you peace of mind that your gifts will reach their recipients.

Through our association with KOOMBIYO Delivery and SRI LANKA POST, we ensure that your order is handled with care and delivered to your preferred location.

  • Rest assured, your order is in good hands as we have teamed up with a trusted and reputable courier service, assuring that it reaches you securely and within the expected time-frame.

We apply a flat rate of LKR 350 for packages weighing up to 1kg. If the package exceeds 1kg, an additional charge of LKR 80 will be added for each subsequent increment, even if it is as minimal as 1 gram beyond 1kg.

This pricing structure allows us to account for the increased costs associated with heavier packages while providing transparency in our charges.

Estimated Delivery Time-Frame: 2 – 5 working days

  • Your package will be delivered right to your door-step through our Speed Post service.

The postal charge for a package weighing 250g is LKR 200. For every additional 250g, an extra charge of LKR 50 will be applied.

This pricing structure ensures that the delivery cost is proportional to the weight of your package, allowing for fair and transparent charges. Rest assured Speed Post service guarantees a reliable and efficient delivery experience for your convenience.

  • If you reside or are located in the Kalutara District, you have the option to choose our pick-up service for a more convenient way to receive your order.

GENERAL RETURN POLICY

We do not accept returns for products solely based on customer preference or dissatisfaction after delivery. Please carefully review the product details before making a purchase.

In the event of damaged or defective products, our refund and exchange policy will provide instructions on how to initiate a refund or exchange.  We aim to address such situations promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.

Please note that you cannot return back a package after it's already been handed over to the Courier Service

Special Attention:

Our courier service will make three attempts to contact you regarding the delivery of your order. During this time, they will provide three reminders if they are unable to reach you. If we are still unable to establish contact, we will consider it a return and proceed accordingly.

To resend the package, there may be additional charges and delays (The return charge amount can vary depending on factors such as weight of the package, the distance to be covered for the return). These charges include return fees and delivery charges. Please note that the all-additional charges for returns should be made through online transactions.

We encourage you to ensure that the contact information provided during the ordering process is accurate and accessible to avoid any inconveniences. Please be responsive to the courier service’s attempts to reach you, as it will help ensure a smooth delivery process.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding regarding this specific limitation for SL Post deliveries.

REFUND POLICY

In the event that you receive a product that is severely damaged, we understand the need for a refund. To initiate the refund process, please send us a message along with your order ID and a detailed description of the matter.

We will carefully consider your request and follow the necessary procedures for refund processing. Please note that we may require additional information or evidence, such as photographs or videos to assess the extent of the damage.

Kindly reach out to us within 02 days after receiving the product. Otherwise, we might not be able to help you with the process.

Once we have received and reviewed your request, we will inform you of the further steps to be taken for the refund process. We strive to handle such circumstances with utmost care and efficiency to ensure your satisfaction.

If you want to initiate a refund for the returned products due to unresponsive and contact  issues, please note that you will receive 80% of your actual product value, while excluding delivery charges. Please be responsive to the courier service.

Important:

  • Please note that we do not provide refunds for fake accusations or non-damaged products. We take the authenticity of our products seriously and ensure that they are delivered to you in the best possible condition.

EXCHANGE POLICY

We understand that there may be understandable reasons for wanting to exchange a product. To initiate an exchange, please notify us within 07 days after the delivery date. We want to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase and will do our best to accommodate your request.

Please refer to these guidelines when requesting an exchange:

  •   Products must be in their original condition and unused
  •   Product should have its original tags intact
  •   Product must be in the same condition as you received it

 

Once you have notified us about the exchange request,

  • You should have to send us your package using the same delivery method (Speed Post/Registered Post or a courier service) that was used for the original order. Ensure that the product is securely packaged to avoid any damage during transit.
  • Once you have shipped the package, please provide us with a proof of delivery, such as a tracking number or a receipt, then we can track the return shipment.
  • Once we receive the package, we will evaluate the returned product to ensure it is in its original condition and meets the eligibility criteria for exchange.
  • After evaluating we will notify you with the evaluation whether your request will be accepted or not.
  • If the exchange is due to damage, there will be no charges for the exchange. However, if it is for a change in preferences, you will be responsible for covering the delivery charges for the exchange package. Please make the payment for the delivery charges via online transaction.

·        Once the return and the delivery charge payment is received, we will send your exchange package as per your request. The package will be shipped using the same delivery method as the original order.

Special Notice:

We regret to inform you that you will be responsible for arranging an external courier service to send us the package for exchange. Please select a reliable courier service of your choice to ensure safe and time delivery.

The orders that are delivered through SL Post should return to us via Speed Post/Registered Post

Please note that you cannot exchange an already exchanged product and we do not exchange products that were sold during a sale/special offer.

Exchange or Return of Goods

If the product is of good quality, the buyer has the right to terminate the contract concluded at a distance within 14 days after its execution.

In order for the right to terminate the agreement to be preserved, the consumer needs to monitor the preservation of the products in their original state. If the device is destroyed, damaged or damaged through no fault of the customer, the customer is not deprived of the opportunity to terminate the contract. If the value has decreased due to unpacking the product or checking its functionality, this does not mean that the consumer cannot write a request for a refund.

The product is not accepted back if at least one of the components is missing:

  • fully equipped equipment;
  • a receipt proving the fact of purchase in the WoodMart online store;
  • warranty card;
  • an act with a description of the defect drawn up by the service department.

The money for the goods will be returned within the terms established by the current legislation
